Lava Iris 401e review

Looking good but has outdated specs. It don’t have 3G, only 256 RAM and Android 2.3Gingerbread OS. It is not a spec of a smartphone running Android. What is utility of a smartphone if you can’t run any application and there is no space to install as there is only less than 200 MB free. Nothing worth buying.. totally waste of money, consider Galaxy Star instead.

Lenovo K900 review : Specs, Price in India and Disadvantages

Lenovo K900 review – Lenovo announced the first Intel Clover Trail+ smartphone at CES 2013 in Las Vegas, the K900. And today, the company introduced its flagship smartphone in India.

Lenovo K900 design

This is a big smartphone with beautiful design. The unibody design of the K900 makes a bold statement for Lenovo. The K900′s chassis is made from a combination of polycarbonate and a composite of stainless steel alloy. So, you’ll definitely see and feel that this is a premium high-end device.

At 6.9 mm of thickness, the K900 is the thinnest phone in its class.

Lenovo K900 screen

The Lenovo K900 boasts a 5.5-inch Full HD display that is protected by a Gorilla Glass 2 panel. The screen size is similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note 2’s screen, but it uses a 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution display and give a 401ppi pixel density, matching the best smartphones of 2013.

The phone uses an IPS LCD screen too, so images are crisp, detailed, and vibrant.

Lenovo K900 Price Specs Pros and Cons

Lenovo K900 Software and Hardware

The Lenovo K900 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean customised with Lenovo’s own UI. Inside, the device is equipped with the latest Intel Atom Clover Trail+ dual-core processor clocked at 2GHz, 2GB of RAM and a PowerVR SGX544 GPU, which triples graphics performance over the previous generation. There is a 16GB of internal storage with micro SD card for expansion up to 32GB. The performance is very fast. Transitions and animations all ran smoothly and apps loaded with little waiting time.

Lenovo K900 camera

It sports  a 13 MP rear camera with Sony’s Exmor BSI sensor and a dual LED flash. The camera should do well in low light thanks to the F1.8 lens. According Lenovo it’s one of the best camera arrays available in class. There is a 2MP front-facing camera for video chat and full HD video recording.

Lenovo K900 connectivity

On the connectivity side, it includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual band, Wi-Fi hotspot, Usb 2.0, GPS, A-GPS. However it was a bit of a downer when we confirmed that it doesn’t have a LTE radio and NFC.

Lenovo K900 battery

It’ features a 2500 mAh battery and nonremovable.

Advantages

  • Very big screen with 5.5-inch Full HD
  • High resolution camera : 13 MP rear camera using the Sony Exmor BSI sensor and F1.8 lens
  • Very fast performance : 2Ghz dual-core Intel Atom Z2580 processor with 2GB of RAM
  • Running the lastest Android Version 4.2 Jelly Bean
  • Super slim

Disadvantages

  • Expensive
  • Not suitable for everyone. The big screen makes it difficult to use with one hand.
  • No NFC
  • No LTE

Lenovo K900 benchmark

The benchmark test of the Lenovo K900 is so great. As you can see in the following screenshot, it scored 25,827 in AnTuTu which is even a bit better than Galaxy S4. The K900 is surely one of the fastest smartphone available now.

Lenovo K900 Price in India

The Lenovo’s flagship is priced at Rs. 32,999 in India.

Lenovo K900 Review

The Lenovo K900 boasts some impressive specs and it is a great smartphone for every one. However, its price is not cheap. In comparison, HTC One is priced at Rs. 42,990 ($792) and iPhone 5 is currently priced at Rs. 45,500 ($838) for the 16GB version and Galaxy S4 is Rs 41,500. So, with Rs 32,999 price tag, S4 is cheaper. If you accept this price, this is a good choice. If not, I recommend you look at some other cheaper phones with similar specs such as: Zopo ZP980 (Rs 15,999), Umi X2 (Rs 14,000).
